Letter to Dwight David Eisenhower 2

[edit]

Is there a reason why is cites Fogerty as a registered democrat? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.19.220.230 (talk) 07:32, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Identification with the Nixon administration

[edit]

In 1970, David Eisenhower got to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Washington Senators season opener. Not only was President Nixon too busy, but Vice President Agnew had to preside over the U.S. Senate where his tie-breaking vote might be needed -- I believe that the (unsuccessful) Carswell nomination to the Supreme Court was being decided. At the time, it was quite unusual for neither the President nor the V.P. to perform the task. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_pitch WHPratt (talk) 14:00, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

That portrait of David and his wife, Mrs. Nixon, shows him in a Naval uniform. That means he served time in the navy, so shouldn't that also be mentioned somewhere in the article, if not in the infobox itself? 24.250.228.145 (talk) 07:30, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Naval service detail have been added. TeriEmbrey (talk) 15:55, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on David Eisenhower. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

List of Works

[edit]

David Eisenhower’s occupation is listed as “author”, but when I look him up on Amazon, I only see two books: Eisenhower at War 1943 - 1945 and Going Home To Glory: A Memoir of Life with Dwight D. Eisenhower, 1961-1969.

In the Introduction of ‘’Eisenhower at War 1943 - 1945’’ David Eisenhower states that volume is the first of three, but it appears he has only written two books. So can we get a list of David Eisenhower’s books on this article? ProfessorTom (talk) 23:22, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
