Added a POV tag -- the article appears biased and innacurate Republican propaganda. The monarchy was overthrown by reactionaries who opposed the Golden Law abolishing slavery.Scott Adler12:21, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Last November you stated "the article appears biased and innacurate Republican propaganda. The monarchy was overthrown by reactionaries who opposed the Golden Law abolishing slavery." May I ask again, can you contribute a less biased source, printed or on-line, adding it to the references? Perhaps the "disputed" tag was hastily applied, and might be removed, on cooler consideration. This request is copied at User talk:Scott Adler. --Wetman11:38, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If I may inquire, what is a "full marshal?" Anglius
A: Full Marshall is the highest rank in Brazil army at that age.
It seems as though the article has been edited to address the tagger's objections. No further discussion has taken place in the year since it was tagged. I recommend removing the tag. Phyesalis05:37, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
In the infobox, it says Fonseca's predecessor was Pedro II as the last Emperor. I feel this should be changed to Office established. Pedro II might've been the last head of state before Deodoro became President, but the office of President was established when he took power. Other pages do this as well, such as George Washington and Guadalupe Victoria. FredModulars (talk) 14:27, 21 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I think there should be no predecessor field at all. He was not preceded by anyone as president, so why have that parameter in the infobox? Surtsicna (talk) 15:17, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
