I've recently corrected the Miles Franklin Award information for Dorothy Johnston.
I created this author's page and may well have inadvertently stated here that she won the 1998 MF Award. That was incorrect and I've now fixed it. However, someone has added in the information that the author's novel RUTH was shortlisted for the award in 1986. I wasn't aware that shortlists were released before 1987. Could whoever added the note also add a reference as I would like to follow this up and update the main Miles Franklin Award page.
Hi Perry ... if I read the versions correctly it looks like that inf re Ruth was entered by you? Or am I reading the version information incorrectly? BTW, your OZLIT website is a great resource. Good on you - I have looked at it a lot over the years. Sterry2607 11:00, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I can't remember doing that but it may have happened. I'll remove the reference.
