Creation of Peerages[edit]

According to Burke's Dormant, Abeyant, Forfeited and Extinct Peerages of 1883, Edward Cecil was raised to the peerage as Baron Cecil of Putney on 9 November 1625,as stated in the article. However he was not elevated to the Viscountcy of Wimbledon until 26 July 1626.77.101.120.170 (talk) 08:34, 10 March 2012 (UTC)SJH[reply]
