The Secret Kaleidoscope and Know What Heaven Knows are from the original Life article, not Gardner (fixed), but they don't seem to exist at all on the internet except at this article and that one. The original reporter probably copied someone's 放屁 or (badly) mistranslated something real. Either way, we should find out what's going on and patch that up. — LlywelynII09:04, 3 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hm... given the non-existence of these ancient texts and the original Life article crediting the guy starting it with being a single official trying to give the press pool something to do, the whole idea that this practice existed in China before 1945 might be spurious. It'd still be notable, but the Chinese section would need a rewrite. — LlywelynII08:09, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Shouldn't this article state what Egg balancing is?
e.g.: Egg balancing is a traditional Chinese practice, where an Egg / multiple Egg's is ???. It has since been popularized ...
??? being something like: "Putting an edd upright"
Also: what tools, how long, what rules, what purpose (entertainment, contest)
I actually never heard of Egg balancing, and I am going to look it up now, but I wanted to write this while I still had the perspective of someone who does not know. And expected an answer when clicking the link to this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.152.161.35 (talk) 20:44, 31 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
