I think it’s extremely important to write that this is the first ever Bollywood movie whit a lgbt+ character! This was so big because people thought it was a movie about a girl-boy love story so even people who are close minded went to the cinema. A lot of people used this movie to come out to their traditional parents!!
I am from India and I never got to see such topics in movies when growing up, I was so ignorant. This is the first time i see such a thing happening and I am so proud of this actress who said that she was not afraid to play a lesbian character, she did not care if she would have lost fans because it would have helped someone’s life.
