Since I have received no response from the www.lakersplayers.org web site administrator and they have made no attempts to attribute their source, I am noting here that the site

It would be nice if the article had less of the race angle and more of what a great guy and player he was. For example, most fans had never seen somebody hang in the air, wait for defenders to obey gravity, and then still score. Every player on my basketball team was trying to imitate his play, and the time was all white.
