Renewable Energy World[edit]

I suggest an specific article about Renewable Energy World (or at least, a section in this article). --Nopetro (talk) 12:58, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request[edit]

Hello, I have a request for an edit and have disclosed my Conflict of Interest on my User Page. Currently, this article’s history section appears to cover PennWell, not Endeavor. PennWell is one of the companies acquired by Endeavor, but it is not the first or only acquisition, and its prominence here might be WP:IRRELEVANT and/or confusing. Here is the proposed change:

Change this:

Endeavor Business Media was founded in 2017 and acquired PennWell in 2019.
PennWell
The company, originally called the Petroleum Publishing Company and owned by Pennsylvanian Patrick Boyle, began in 1910 with the acquisition of a magazine based in Beaumont, Texas, called Oil Investors Journal; Boyle moved the publication to Tulsa.......... [6]

To this:

Endeavor Business Media is an American business-to-business media company founded by Chris Ferrell and others in December 2017. The company acquires and operates trade publications, websites, marketing solutions and events. In 2018 Endeavor acquired the publication assets of SouthComm and 7 other companies.[1][2] The company acquired several publications and events from British company Clarion Events, who had previously acquired these assets from PennWell Corporation, and from Informa Intelligence, a division of Informa, in 2019. >[3]

Any help is appreciated. Thank you! Abigail Christine (talk) 22:26, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: Please establish a consensus with editors engaged in the subject area before using the {{Request edit}} template for this proposed change. casualdejekyll 13:52, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Casualdejekyll: Thank you for your input -- much appreciated! How would you recommend that I engage other editors in this subject area on a quiet Talk Page, and what would you suggest that I do if there is no response? Thanks! Abigail Christine (talk) 22:27, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

To be perfectly honest I have no idea what I was thinking. That edit looks totally fine to me. casualdejekyll 23:19, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Go ahead: I have reviewed these proposed changes and suggest that you go ahead and make the proposed changes to the page. casualdejekyll 23:19, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
