Untitled[edit]

Thank you Zoe, for correcting my many mistakes. :-)

The correct name of the man is "Don Enrico Berlinguer", he is generally known this way and before the advent of republic, which abolished the "titoli nobiliari", he was also formally indicated this way in public documents. Unless I'm missing recent new policies, usually such titles are included in the articles; for completeness of information, at least.

Might I ask you why did you remove the note about Benigni's sketch (a fact with many meanings, indeed), the links to external pictures and the separators between paragraphs?

Last, about cities: I believe we should first move cities' articles to their new names, and -after- change related links in other pages, because we have broken links now in this article, and we have to manually find related shorter titles to edit and redirect them (not an impossible mission, I agree, only a little longer procedure). In the meanwhile, a newcomer reads the article ignoring we do have an -improperly named and maybe orphan- article on that city. But this is an opinion I have. --G

Excuse me... but...how can he be "personal friend" of GARIBALDI and MAZZINI???? They both died at least 50 years before he was born!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.48.139.199 (talk) 12:32, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

His _grandfather_ was a friend of Garibaldi and Mazzini. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.96.217.5 (talk) 03:03, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This topic is not a biography but just communist propaganda in its most ridicolous form. Who gives a damn about Benigni or Italian nobles? Comrad Berlinguer was only a psychopath and a criminal who wanted to transform Italy in a dictatorship. He had pictures and souvenirs with all worst criminals and fanatics of the world: Breznev, Tito, Castro, Kim Il Sung, Mao Tze Dong, Honecker, Ceausescu, and so on. He got zillions of dollars of bribes from the Soviet Union and from several sources in Italy. He had traitors like Armando Cossutta that passed classified information about the NATO to the Soviet Union (remember Mithrokin?) and even armed terrorists that were supposed to overthrow the Italian democracy with violence the so called "Red Gladio". All of this article is fluff. Berlinguer was simply a criminal like all the other communist leaders and his ambition was to create for himself a personal dictatorship and to become a red version of Mussolini. By the way this is the reason why the jerk always lost all the elections in Italy and never became relevant in the Italian politics — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.31.161.164 (talk) 07:54, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.

The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.

Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 21:07, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
