External links in the body of the text[edit]

I have removed the external links to the German Wikiepdia that were placed in the body of text--see WP:External links, but see also Wikipedia:Wikimedia sister projects and Help:Interlanguage links. Most alternative information can be found via the Interlanguage links which appear on the left hand side of the page in the section called languages, so there is little need to use Interlanguage links in the body of the text. If some topic is missing then I suggest that red links are more appropriate. -- PBS (talk) 22:07, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
