Ovbiously the Aachen design doesn't use the annoyingly bright and irreproduceable RGB green that's in the image. I'm making a new image that's toned down to a more probable pale green, but I'm not sure if that's more correct than a straight Crayola green. If anybody knows better please let me know. Done. Please feel free to correct me. Dyfsunctional 14:29, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The article states: "It is also the only Nordic flag without a Nordic Cross".
There are, of course, probably thousands of flags in the nordic countries without a cross, but if we assume that the article means that is a flag that represents a notable geographic/cultural entity that has significant official recognition, this statement is still false.
The flag of the Sami (Lapps) is officially recognized in at least Norway and it does not contain a cross: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sami_flag. 92.231.107.234 (talk) 15:30, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Could be good to clarify the meaning of the sentence, or remove it if it can't be clarified... AnonMoos (talk) 17:13, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The entire flag measures 18 by 12 parts; each stripe measures 6 parts; the disk is 8 parts in diameter, horizontally offset by 7 parts from the hoist to the centre of the circle, and vertically centered.
