This article should be titled "Freedom Songs"

[edit]

I never heard anyone involved in the Civil Rights Movement use the term "Civil Rights anthem." We sang "Freedom Songs," and that's the term most people use and know. Brucehartford (talk) 15:51, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm quite late on this, but if anyone wants to change this to "Freedom Songs" that's good by me. I wasn't entirely sure of the proper name for this when I created it.--T. Anthony (talk) 21:33, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well, no one has objected to changing the title so I think we should do it. Unfortunately, my Wiki skills are limited and I'm not sure how one goes about changing an article title. If you know how, please go ahead and make the change. You'll have to make some slight adjustments to the article text to accomodate the title change. Brucehartford (talk) 18:10, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Done, though possibly "Freedom song" would have worked better.--T. Anthony (talk) 03:13, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the move. I think songs (plural) is correct because there were so many of them. Brucehartford (talk) 17:10, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
