Probably not. Cups are often named to indicate who is eligible to enter. The cup for the whole world is the World Cup, the cup for the entire FA is the FA Cup, the cup for members of the league is the League Cup, the cup for all Europe's cup winners is (was) the European Cup Winners Cup, the name of the Champions League trophy is the European Champions Cup since it was originally a cup for domestic champions. Not World's Cup, FA's Cup, League's Cup, Cup Winners' Cup, Champions' Cup. Without a citation either way, it makes more sense to stick with the common practice.
