Full names for historical Muslim figures usually look like Abū Saʿīd ʿAbd-al-Ḥayy ibn Żaḥḥāk ibn Maḥmūd Gardīzī and the average reader has no idea what is what, so the best policy is to stick to the most common name, adding others only as necessary for disambiguation.
