Overly focused on 2015 awards

[edit]

George Polk Awards have been given every year since 1948, yet more than half of this article is dedicated to the 2015 awards. That's massively undue. I think the section on the 2015 prizes should be renamed something like "Notable Awards" or "Historical Awards," and should give an overview of the most notable awards given in the history of the prize. That would entail deleting most of the information on the 2015 prizes, unless they really are the most notable prizes given since 1948. -Thucydides411 (talk) 19:56, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy over Polk's claims

[edit]

This detailed examination of claims made by and for Polk regarding his WW II service dates from 2007. https://historynewsnetwork.org/article/35737 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8800:2B80:255F:C024:1337:2E45:CA8E (talk) 20:53, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
