[1]I think there should be a subsection added under the History and Development section. I think this subsection should focus solely on the Riot Grrrl Movement and how it contributed to the emergence of girl studies. There's quite a bit of research reinforcing the idea that girl studies really came from the Riot Grrrl Movement in the 1970s-1990s.[2][3][4]
