Untitled[edit]

The symbol Z is shown a second time for the majuscule sigma (between rows starting with P and T for Rho and Tau.

First row with symbol Z is correct for Zeta.

Should be Σ.

I looked at edit but could not see what is causing the problem. (Perhaps my browser Chromium 6.0.428.0 (49076) on Linux puppypc 2.6.33.2)

On clicking the (second) "Z" link I got the correct page for sigma.

In case relevant I notice that the page for sigma (letter) mentions among the other redirects at start:

""Σ" redirects here."

That was a copy and paste which I can see correctly using the symbol for Sigma as I edit this. (Likewise for "Should be Σ") above which was also done with a cut and paste and I can also see correctly here while editing.

Suggests my browser CAN display Sigma correctly.

Nevertheless it LOOKS to me like ""Z" redirects here." (not cut and paste but verbatim retype while looking).

From Greek edit bar above, Σ works fine for me.

Hello. This is really an odd problem, but I don't think it's a problem on the side of Wikipedia. The only explanation I have is that your browser is using some strangely faulty font that has these letter shapes mixed up. Fut.Perf. 14:54, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Addition of letters and ligatures[edit]

Since the article and the Greek minuscule letters are based solely on Thompson's book, I have to say that I have read this book and I was not very satisfied with how it represented Greek letters. Having read many Greek manuscripts, I have to say many of the present letters are not at all helpful. They may be helpful for later manuscripts, but for manuscripts between 850–1300 AD they are not. I am going to add more renditions and ligatures. Dimboukas (talk) 22:56, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
