According to the Souvenir Programme of the Opening of the Municipal Buildings 1910, currently available to view in Tower Hamlets Library, Henry Poole was also the sculptor for the bass relief figures on the Bethnal Green Town Hall, Patriot Square. These are currently being restored as part of a redevelopment programme. The programme states:
"Statuary of a full-size seated female figure and two cherubs, modelled by Mr Henry Poole, of Chelsea, emphasize the main entrance. The central figure in stone represents the guardianship of the industries of the Borough by the Municipality, and the ensuing prosperity is indicated by the cornucopia int he arms of the boys, which are overflowing with produce. On the Patriot Square elevation is a figure in bas-relief by the same sculptor, representing "Justice" with sword and scales." 94.170.89.164 (talk) 09:51, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
