"According to film critic/historian Roger Ebert, the name of Columbus University is an inside joke. The college is named for Christopher Columbus: a Dead White European Male whose "discovery" of America led to genocide and worse..."
Shouldn't this be changed? I'm not sure how the name of the Univ. qualifies as an inside joke when there are entire scenes that play on the controversial (and in some ways infamous) role that Columbus played in what happened once America was discovered by the Europeans. —Preceding unsigned comment added by C d h (talk • contribs) 04:53, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There seems to be a mix of two different (conflicting? Irrelevant?) ideas: Epps's performance in a parody of '90s movies and something about someone being shot. I haven't seen "Higher Learning", so I don't know if the second sentence relates to Higher Learning or the parody film that Epps starred in. This section needs editing and clarification.
