HiRioHondo. Yes, I am open to change the name of the above-mentioned articles but not to "List of Roman Catholic churches in (placename)". I do not know how the standard convention was set but I would appreciate if you can brief me on that or direct me to page discussing that. Sorry if I am being too uptight here, it's just that by definition, a Church is different from a Chapel. The size of a structure does not necessarily entail the title of a church or a chapel since technically the terms church and chapel refer to the structure's rank and function (at least in the context of Roman Catholicism) and since we are in the context of an encyclopedia, I believe it would be best to come up with a more-detailed convention in naming the structures. Thank you for bringing this up. I actually have more to share but I guess it would be better if I will just improve the Chapel article to reflect what I have in mind. @JJCarpio. What i meant by convention is what the available articles and categories are here on WP. Best practice for editors before creating an article is to check the Wikiarticles and their wikicategories that have similar content and align your article to them. In WP, everything is standardized, unless there is a specific or official name to your article that would require taking on a different article title and category from the rest. That's how i was able to come up with the list of Roman Catholic churches for Metro Manila. First, there were those precedents from Bohol, Tacloban, etc and then there was already a Category:Roman Catholic churches in the Philippines. The same way we arrived with historic houses. Although my understanding really is that chapels, like basilicas, your regular churches and cathedrals are collectively called churches or church buildings. They only differ in terms of the size and function or role. And that is why, also, you have the basilica churches and cathedrals under the same category. Thank you, RioHondo, for the explanation. Regarding the article categories, correct me if I'm wrong but I think I was able to grasp the WP convention for that (in fact, if you look at the articles, I included those chapels under the category Roman Catholic churches in Pampanga). Now, concerning naming the article, I'm still iffy with regards to using your suggested title format. WP articles on chapels are quite scanty esp. for Philippine chapels so I do not know which convention to follow. Maybe we can leave it be for a while and wait for someone to edit the contents then maybe we can decide by then what to do. I understand and respect existing WP conventions about this but on my part, such conventions can be improved so I will be needing everyone's help in organizing WP information on Philippine churches. Maybe we can start with expanding the subcategories for the list of Roman Catholic churches in the Philippines to include a subcategory for "List ... according to Rank". Also, I suggest we move this conversation to Talk:Notable Chapels in Porac, Pampanga. Thanks.
