No vote took place on a move to Dallas in 1962.[edit]

You can read what took place between Finley and AL owners in articles here[1] and here[2].- William 02:24, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

KC and Oakland years[edit]

No question, A's suffered under Arnold Johnson's ownership and really were a quasi-major league team which served as a conduit for the Yankees, but there must be a more encyclopaedic way of writing all this. In the post-championship period under Finley, the pattern of irrelevancy repeated itself, but my criticism holds-there's got to be a better way. Hushpuckena (talk) 07:02, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Marge Schott[edit]

This article states that Steve Schott was the third-cousin of Marge Schott, former owner of the Cincinnati Reds, but his own wikipedia page says that they are of no relation - neither claim has a citation. OldScratchJohnson (talk) 11:09, 16 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
