Of course there's not going to be much more to put in the impact section. I think it would be more interesting to add another section on the lack of pressure measurements for this storm, and why that was done. Specifically, I myself am interested to know how they got windspeed measurements without measuring the pressure. Jdorje04:26, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, jdorje. I still think Dog had lower pressure than 900mb and WAAAAYYY lower than the 979 mb they estimated on the page.
The 979 isn't an estimate, it's the actual measurement...taken from when the hurricane hit the Caribbean as a Category 1. But after the storm moved north and strengthened, they kept taking air windspeed measurements but stopped taking pressure measurements for some reason. — jdorje (talk) 20:48, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
In the article, it mentions Hurricane Dog as one of only 3 category 5's to avoid land - but Dog did hit, or pass by, Antigua as a hurricane, so it did not avoid land altogether. Should that be changed in the article? I think Dog should not be left as a category 5 that missed land, but as one that made a direct hit to land, like Hurricane Fabian of 2003 did so on Bermuda.
