Lead sentence, "American" or "British" series?[edit]

The lead sentence currently describes this as an "American" series. Per MOS:TVLEAD the nationality of a series is based on "the country [...] within which principal creative control was exercised". Are there reliable sources over whether this is the US or the UK? Compare with "His Dark Materials (TV series)". Gabbe (talk) 08:27, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

To followup, I've removed "British-American" from the lede, as per WP:TVLEAD: "If the nationality is not singular or cannot be supported by appropriate citation, omit the information from the introductory sentence and cover the different national interests later, where these can reliably be referenced." I've also clarified the production section to make clear that the Bad Wolf production house is British. As (American) HBO and Bad Wolf are both producing this series, it should be considered a "binational" TV series, and thus nationality should not be included in the first sentence as per TVLEAD. --IJBall (contribstalk) 00:32, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The article still reads oddly. This show is made by Bad Wolf in Cardiff, and is supposedly set in London though with a sprinkling of American characters. BBC screenings don't refer to any American connection. HBO are really just picking up the bills. --Ef80 (talk) 15:10, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

8 episodes not 5[edit]

The opening says 8 episodes (as do umpteen sources) yet the table shows it as 5. Inconsistent but I can’t fix as protected. 95.146.83.194 (talk) 20:01, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm leaning that I agree that we should present 8 instead of 5. I understand only 5 episodes have aired on HBO while all 8 have been released on HBO Max, but Template:Infobox television's documentation doesn't specify or indicate the cable count is preferred over streaming. I think the number that's greater should take precedence in this case. -- Wikipedical (talk) 19:40, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Cast[edit]

When the show began, this directive made sense: In first season credited order (with new main cast members at the bottom) eg Harper is initially 4th billed in Pilot, please do not change.

As season 2 progresses, it becomes clear that Harper and Yasmin are the main characters, with Robert, Gus and Eric following suit. The original order makes sense for the rest of the list, but not the top five when looking at the entire series. Askingforafriend (talk) 02:28, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Per MOS:TVCAST, The cast listing should be ordered according to the original broadcast credits, with new cast members being added to the end of the list.YoungForever(talk) 04:59, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
