ISM is an amateurs term, there is no scientific source for this. Science knows about these structures since decades and call it galactic cirrus. Furthermore: These structures are not only located outside the galactic plane, but everywere in and around it. The followeing sentence in that article is wrong: "IFNs lie beyond the main body of the galaxy" ISM is just a hype of amateur astronomers. The term "integrated flux nebula" is not a proper name; as such, the name according to Wikipedia standards should be "Integrated flux nebula", not "Integrated Flux Nebula". 51.175.156.113 (talk) 14:40, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
