Changed Oblivion/Fallout 3[edit]

I removed the wording that said the no-clip option will allow travel outside of the game's overworld invisible barriers. This can only be done through editing that feature off within the .ini file. However for all standard or interior invisible walls, no-clip bypasses them. 74.128.56.194 (talk) 18:11, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Examples[edit]

If you can find a secondary source citing why a specific example of an invisible wall is notable, feel free to add it. Otherwise, Wikipedia is not the place to make a list of invisible walls editors happened to have found within games. No original research. Maplestrip (talk) 09:48, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

About the claim that 2D games may use screen edges as invisible walls being tagged with [citation needed], there are tons of examples, including platform games where the leftmost or rightmost area of a level stops the player from going any further, and top-down RPGs where all four edges of an area of the game world may do the same. Because of it being very common I see no reason to use the tag for this claim, though there are also some games that feature 3D graphics but have top-down or side-view perspectives where screen edges act as invisible walls.
