I placed the POV tag when creating the article because it is pasted from a US government website. Because this comes from a US govt source it may not be neutral, but I don't have the expertise to judge. (Hopefully others that know more will simply remove the tag if they think the article looks okay.) Mangostar (talk) 00:25, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Ireland–United States relations. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Misleading?

[edit]

People in Ireland support US leadership under Barack Obama, but this was not the case under George W. Bush and public opinion in Ireland was overwhelmingly against the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. (86.183.30.92 (talk) 14:21, 22 June 2016 (UTC))[reply]

Scope

[edit]

Does this article cover relations between the USA and only the area sometimes called the Republic of Ireland? Or does it cover relations between the USA and the entire island? This point could use some clarification in the lead. The USA has a consulate in Belfast, but it’s unclear whether that’s within article scope.
