Subject is an academic, but both of whose books were self-published (one novel, and one PhD thesis, both via the CreateSpace platform), and so who does not meet notability criteria by virtue of publications. Subject is also described as a "former politician", but who has only been a Parish Councillor and unsuccessful candidate/agent in other elections, so does not meet notability criteria as a politician either. Article appears to have been written by someone close to the subject, containing original research which is not verifiable from reliable sources.
