Untitled[edit]

The Stone Roses....renunion?

Please get back together

Nothing on Squire's guitar playing? Surely he can be considered one of Britain's greatest guitarists, no? While Second Coming may not have been the most accessible of albums, Squire's exceptional talent made many otherwise mediocre songs stand out.

Tidy up[edit]

I think Squire's page could do with some tidying up, especially fleshing the background segment.

I agree with you. there's nothing about squire's time at cosgrove-hall, for instance, or his cycling accident. the shane meadows fan-flick shows both john & ian holding babies from their first long-term relationships. I'm not going to dive in & fix this because my recollection only extends as far as the days following the 'paint-job' on silvertone's offices; I lost touch with them after that.

Links[edit]

I don't know who it is (obviously) who keeps removing my website links from the external links pages of every page relating to The Stone Roses but if you could stop it... then that'd be coool. ta.

and again today (06/09/07), can we please leave the links on the page, thank you. TheJSU - http://www.john-squire.com 08:39, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:ClassicJohnSquire.jpg[edit]

Image:ClassicJohnSquire.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

No Mention of DangerMouse?[edit]

Should this article not include under his artwork section at least a mention of his work on the British cartoon DangerMouse?

Alucardtepes (talk) 17:32, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He didn't work on Dangermouse, he is credited on The Wind in the Willows though - both Cosgrove Hall productions. He was a modeller, not an animator. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.207.212.94 (talk) 12:13, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

retired[edit]

I noticed this on john deacon and alan whites page as well. if you retire does that mean you wont be given a photo? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.43.203.36 (talk) 19:11, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

worst picture ever of john squire[edit]

like, i get the guy is kind of a recluse and there aren't that many photos of him, but this one sucks.

sometimes it's better to have no picture instead of one that looks like this.

he looks like a clammy, grimey dude.

contrast this picture to: this, thisorthis

i should try talking to the guy in the last photo because maybe he'll license it for wiki.

really this picture needs to go. it's offensive. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.159.210.81 (talk) 02:33, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
