Application for Semi-Protection

[edit]

I applied for this page to be semi-protected, recent court ruling against 'Limewire' is attracting tendentious edits. Larryisgood (talk) 20:43, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

More footnotes

[edit]

This is a BLP, which I hold to a higher standard than other articles. I recommend adding a few more citations where I've noted.Matthew Glennon (talk) 18:26, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bot-created subpage

[edit]

A temporary subpage at User:Polbot/fjc/Kimba Maureen Wood was automatically created by a perl script, based on this article at the Biographical Directory of Federal Judges. The subpage should either be merged into this article, or moved and disambiguated. Polbot (talk) 01:38, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Milken sentencing

[edit]

Perhaps the article should reflect that the 10 year sentence given to Milken was and remains highly controversial. Woods wrote at the time "You were willing to commit only crimes that were unlikely to be detected". The main reason these "crimes" were unlikely to be detected is because it's debatable they were in fact "crimes", as opposed to difficult-to- understand financial transactions. It should also be noted that these "crimes" involved sums that were an insignificant fraction of Milken's total turnover (perhaps on the order of 0.0001%). 24.47.61.206 (talk) 02:51, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

First, can you cite references for the sentence being, and remaining, controversial? Second, is this the appropriate place for the information or should it be in the Michael Milken article? -- Pemilligan (talk) 20:28, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Is that you, Michael? -- 184.189.217.210 (talk) 19:36, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 19 April 2018

[edit]

Section header is inaccurate. She was chosen by Clinton for AG but had to withdraw before she was ever formally nominated. 2600:1002:B11F:D717:49E6:911A:3876:F04A (talk) 02:14, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. — IVORK Discuss 02:36, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
