The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: not done; the target is a different article. In this case, this page can be redirected at the proposed title if there is consensus for such a change. If a merge is advisable, merge discussions (WP:PM, etc.) are a separate process from WP:RM. Dekimasuよ!23:46, 14 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Comment. Komarolu is the commonest usage and corresponds to the standard transliteration of the Telugu name. Hence I would support it, except that there already is a Komarolu article with a longer history. So the right action to carry out is to merge the content of the Komarole article into it and turn the latter into a redirect. (Also make the article primarily about the village, the mandal is secondary and should be in a subsidiary section, and could if there was sufficient content make a separate article.) Alternative proposal – make Komarole a redirect to the existing article Komarolu. The name Komarolu gets many more hits than Komarole on the web and books. There were no results from Google news search. Web search Komarolu 249k hits to Komarole 22k. Book search Komarolu 212 hits to Komarole 96. I’ve now copied across the information in the Komarole article. Imc (talk) 17:56, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
