Later renamed to Konvas-Avtomat (Automatic) for electric-driven models. This is not correct. All of compact cameras were electric driven and called Konvas-automat because fast loading cassette mechanism. Konvas-1 and Konvas-zvuk were early Konstantinov cameras (1938-40), based on De Brie mechanism. But that Konvases don't have nothing common with Konvas-automat.
