{{helpme}} How do I link this article to the Spanish and Catalan versions? They are located at

http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Merc%C3%A8

and

http://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Merc%C3%A8

Thanks, Carloz Carlozatwiki 03:50, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just add [[es:La_Merc%C3%A8]] and [[ca:La_Merc%C3%A8]] to the bottom of the article. These won't show as normal links, they will be put on the side in the other languages section.--Werdan7T @ 04:01, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Languages[edit]

I just edited the page to make it clearer to understand, etc. Part of that edit was removing the Spanish translations from the article, which I thought were superfluous. But I wanted to get some insight from others first. The two translations were for "La Virgen de la Merced" and "Gigantes y cabezudos"; they can be added back in if necessary. acomas 01:48, 16 December 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexandrecomas (talkcontribs) I changed “most important festival” to annual festival (or “fiesta patronal” or “fiesta mayor.” I have lived in Spain for 10 years and these are commonly referred to as 'fiestas mayores,' not 'fiestas patronales.' I don't know how to do citations, but if someone wants to add one, here is the link to the "About La Merce" page on the City of Barcelona's website: http://www.bcn.cat/merce/en/sobre-merce.shtml. If you look at the Spanish version of the page, you will see in the first line it is referred to as the 'Fiesta Mayor.' Thanks. SOrry, I meant to include a link to the Spanish version of the page, too. Here it is: http://www.bcn.cat/merce/es/sobre-merce.shtml

Marathon vs. 10km race[edit]

It said that there was a marathon as part of the Mercè. I'm a runner and I'm pretty sure that that was false. There is a 10km race though and I changed things accordingly. If someone knows of a marathon as part of the Mercè then please add a reference/link. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.27.241.137 (talk) 09:36, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
