Here's the passage regarding Oliver in the 1836 Francisque Michel edition:
"Prenget li reis sa fille qui tant ad bloi le peil
En sa cambre nus metet en un lit en requeit
Si jo n’el ai anut testimonie de lui cent feiz
Demain perde la teste, par covent le otrai."
Page 20. Not knowing why it was originally tagged with 'dubious', it's hard for me to reply any further. I think the sense of testimonie is euphemistic, but pretty clear. What else could it refer to? Renard Migrant (talk) 13:44, 16 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
