Notice on the left side of Life zone, under Languages, there is now a link to de:Vegetationszone under Deutsch. Interwiki links belong at Wikidata. At Wikidata, there were two duplicate entries: one for Life zone, the other for Vegetation zone. Thank you for pointing me at the link, hike395. I actually had not noticed it before.
I did not do the merger myself since "life zone" encompasses "animal life" as well as "vegetation".
I figured they might therefore not be merged for a reason and I was told off before for merging two seemingly equivalent articles on wikidata.
But if you think they should be merged I guess that's fine and if someone disapproves they can probably undo the merger (although I do not know how that is done exactly).
