I'd like to split the Corsair into its own article.[edit]
The reason why I want to do this is because the Corsair replaced the MKC; it is not the 2nd-gen model despite the similarities. This is like how the GLC is the GLK's replacement. The GLC has its own article, and is not the 2nd-generation GLK. It may also be similar to the GLK, but like the Corsair and MKC, they are completely different from one another.
Support completely Unlike the larger MKX becoming the Lincoln Nautilus (in a mid-cycle revision), the Corsair effectively replaces the MKC (the Mercedes-Benz analogy is a perfect example). While both the MKC and Corsair serve as Lincoln counterparts of the Ford Escape/Kuga, the Corsair shares little with its predecessors (besides its engines). If a second generation of the Corsair is released in the years to come, its model lineage will have even less to do with this article. It might take a bit to expand the existing content beyond a stub stage, but it a separate Lincoln Corsair article is certainly worthy of consideration. --SteveCof00 (talk) 06:12, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
