I've noticed a huge problem. Skyscraper Center marks Taiwan as part of China. Generally on Wikipedia Taiwan is acknowledged as an independent country, because objectively it is. According to List of tallest buildings in Taiwan, there are 65 150m+ buildings in Taiwan, this means that the listing for China has 65 more skyscrapers than it should have and Taiwan should take Brazil's spot in 16th place. So what I've done is I've added up all the numbers in Taiwan - for future reference, only Taipei, New Taipei, Kaohsiung, and Tainan have 150m+ buildings (as of 2024) so those four are the ones you have to add up. According to the CTBUH's figures, which is what the rest of the list uses, that comes to a lower number than 65. I've also subtracted that number from China for each height category.
Could a list like this include a total of skyscrapers for all the world? Subtotals by continent are interesting, too. I know Russia straddles Europe and Asia, but it has a mere 51, which I think, without enough research, are mainly in Moscow and St Petersburg, so mainly in Europe. I have not learned how to sum a table’s values as part of Wikipedia, other than copying to a calculator. - - Prairieplant (talk) 13:05, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Is there a way to create a page which represents countries with the most buildings, preferably, above 12 floors or 35 meters (high-rise)? I'm creating this topic because if some countries have a greater number of buildings it must be because of their culture, so I thought about finding a page about this, but there isn't one. 2804:14C:4386:8267:D9BB:25F7:727F:A2E9 (talk) 16:10, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
