Adisk is a little round device (picture), a strictly physical entity. The term logical disk is awkward and used only in a certain place in MS Windows. Virtual disk is similarly awkward, but at least it is recognized in the industry. But what if you will virtualize a USB stick? Would the server see a logical stick then? I would say that server uses logical/virtualvolume (maybe storage). This is the most widely established term, that causes no confusion.
Thus I would like to propose renaming this page to logical volume.
