"Madonna with child (Jesus)" seems redundant and awkward, as "Madonna and child" is well-known as a description of paintings of Mary with young Jesus, and the Madonna (art) article should clarify the matter for anyone who was uncertain. This is an aesthetic judgement call, but I would tend to omit the explanatory "(Jesus)" myself. -- Xtifr04:48, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
