The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that the Marinoan glaciation was one of the three Neoproterozoic glaciations that caused the Snowball Earth? New paper indicates the causation for the end of the glaciation is in doubt: T. F. Bristow, et. al LeoBC (talk) 21:48, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

On this page: Of these glaciations, the Marinoan was the most significant, whereas the Sturtian glaciation was a shorter, but still worldwide glaciation.

On Sturtian page:

the Sturtian glaciation being the longest one, lasting about 60 million years.
