Untitled[edit]

In section International opossition:

I recall Mexico did not traded petroleum with fascist powers, there is a letter that Cardenas sent to Roosevelt mentioning to him that if he allows his goverment to boicot Mexico, then he will be forced to trade with the fascist countries. As soon as I get the reference I will post it.

Mexico did trade with Germany. Moreover, Germany payed with currency only valid in Germany furthering the trade ties between both countries. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.169.26.163 (talk) 19:26, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have not seen any reference with respect to this. 129.108.52.145 (talk) 00:37, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Incorporating material from Lázaro Cárdenas#Oil expropriation[edit]

There are some details here Lázaro Cárdenas#Oil expropriation that aren't found in this article. That should probably be rectified. I'm noting it here because I don't have to time to do it right now. — LinguistAtLarge • Talk  22:22, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Should also be noted that the reason oil expropriation occurred was because by refusing the ruling of the Mexican Supreme Court, foreign oil companies violated Mexico's sovereignty by deciding they were above Mexican supreme law. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.108.129.24 (talk) 07:41, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This article says that this day is one of the Mexican "Fiestas Patrias". But when I take the link to Fiestas Patrias, this day is not mentioned. One article or the other needs to be updated, doesn't it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.55.55.66 (talk) 14:50, 11 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
