Merge was already completed in 2009. The merge process was finalized by redirecting the other articles. -- P 1 9 9 • TALK 18:48, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This page is garbage and needs to be edited. Sounds like some dumb goober writ it up while on tower.

I propose that this one be removed immediately after scavenging any useful bits, and merging the other two remaining. Mydogtrouble (talk) 19:38, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The illustrations here are good. They also exist in Mud log. But not in Mudlogger. I added the bit here I found relevant to Mudlogger in preparation to merge IT with Mud log. I think this article is ready for deletion. Request editor assist in this. Mydogtrouble (talk) 19:59, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Typically we don't delete a merged article, we redirect it to the new article. I'll do this... TastyCakes (talk) 20:01, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Wait so what is the final article going to be? Mud log or mud logger? Personally, I think I would have chosen mud logging as the combined article name, since it would seem to contain both mud logs and mud loggers, whereas the other two don't... The title also agrees with the other "well logging" articles, such as sonic logging and density logging. TastyCakes (talk) 20:03, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My style says it is two words: Mud logging. This one, with the correct name, was the worst article however. One supposes the final merged article should be named "Mud logging" although the "Mud log" article was about the best of the lot. The redirect from here is great. Good work. Mydogtrouble (talk) 20:25, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't made any redirects yet... Do you want me to replace this article with what's at mud log now? TastyCakes (talk) 21:14, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would redirect to either one, at this point. I'm cleaning up "mudlogger" now, just so I can get its useable paragraphs ready to merge with "mud log." Which as I mentioned, I feel should be renamed finally "Mud logging". I should have moved the other stuff here, maybe! :) Mydogtrouble (talk) 21:30, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think what needs to be done is move the text from Mudlogger here, and then merge selected text from Mud log to here as well. Let me return when I am more focused and I will do that. That way the graphics will already be here and the article here is titled correctly. Mydogtrouble (talk) 21:38, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, that sounds good. TastyCakes (talk) 21:41, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mudlogger text merged with this article now and probably should be redirected to this article. Next will be merging Mud log with this article. Mydogtrouble (talk) 16:24, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mud log text merged with this article now Mydogtrouble (talk) 17:09, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The other articles should be redirected to this one now and archived. Hope a qualified editor does this. Mydogtrouble (talk) 00:44, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated image[edit]

There is a repeated image in this article. The image, I have to admit, is remarkably good for explanation purposes, but is it really necessary to put it twice? Hamsterlopithecus (talk) 19:47, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
