Isn't Muteesa the correct spelling?

Yes, the correct spelling is Muteesa.
However, this correctness derives from the standardisation of the Luganda orthography, which was adopted in 1948. Many proper names were technically incorrect but had been in use for decades. Best example Apolo Kagwa (prime minister and scholar) is properly "Kaggwa" but all his published works were under "Kagwa". —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kigongos (talk • contribs).
