Studies and a color photo published in 2018 by Adam Block, cf. https://www.adamblockphotos.com/ngc-5866.html clearly show that the "dust line" of NGC 5866 has two components: a typical orange central part of the dust and the blue ends, typical of the stars of the arms of a galaxy. This suggests that it is actually a spiral galaxy. This clarification has been added to the text -- Luxorion

There is another galaxy called NGC 3115 also called the "Spindle Galaxy". I am wondering if this would be slightly confusing or not... User:Hamterous1 ^{(discuss anything!🐹✈️)} 01:16, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
