Hi@Black Future: Yes, everything you, or I, or anyone else writes on WP is copyrighted to them, see: WP:C The text of Wikipedia is copyrighted (automatically, under the Berne Convention) by Wikipedia editors and contributors and is formally licensed to the public under one or several liberal licenses. and The Wikimedia Foundation does not own copyright on Wikipedia article texts or illustrations.

In simple words, when you forked this article you not only violated my copyrighted edits, you (in effect) are claiming that my copyrights are yours: You should really read Wikipedia:Copyrights#If you are the owner of Wikipedia-hosted content being used without your permission.

Now I could, of course just blank this entire article and rewrite it to reestablish my copyright, but that would be stupid, in my humble opinion. After all, you didn't do this to really steal my copyright, you just didn't know what you were doing...so why make readers of this article suffer because of an unintential mistake?

Hi. I find it very strange, that there is an information in the article, that EMERCOM and Military police are to become parts of the National Guard. It is an old article, 2012, and that plan (if there was the real one) was not implemented. The now-days National Guard is going to include several branches of the Ministry of Interior including Internal Troops, SOBR, OMON, Out-of-department Guards (Vnevedomstvennaya Okhrana^ not sure, how it is to be translated correct) and units, licensing the gun ownership and private security enterprises. Hi Pvjatchkilev: I've reverted your edit changing SWATtoOmon because it violates WP:OR. I have, though, moved the reference directly next to SWAT showing that Putin's exact words were: The National Guard "will be fighting terrorism, organized crime, all in close cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They will also continue to perform the functions which are currently carried out by riot police units, SWAT, etc.,” he added. As the source of this Putin statement is from the Russian government funded RT network, it cannot be interpreted to be anything other than exactly what it says. Thanks. Hm. that sounds like that in english version of RT? Putin spoke originally about OMON (instead of riot police) and SOBR (instead of SWAT). Ok. Honestly speaking, there is no direct analogue in Russian language for "Riot police" and journalists translated it sometimes as OMON. So, at lest once they've called the riot police in Greece as "local OMON". Nevermind

. Nice. Ministry of Defense units won't be transferred to NG as well. I didn't find the english version of the executive order, which is the first act to establish the National Guard. But in the Russian version there is this order, and units which are transferred to the National guard are all mentioned.

It is about OMON, SOBR, gun and private security companies licensing units of the police, police aviation and Out of department guard (Federal enterprise "The Security" (or @The guard", not sure how to translate it correctly)

According to Russia Times^[1], the official name is Rosgvardia/Russian Guards, and NOT "National Guard":
The document, published on the federal website on Tuesday, gives the new force the official name of Rosgvardia (short for “Russian Guards”), in addition to the National Guard name used by Vladimir Putin when he announced its creation earlier this month.
In my opinion, we should wait the final approvation of the draft for the final name of the page and of the corps.Mach1988 (talk) 11:38, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

In the Federal law the official name for this military organization is Nazgvardia or Nazguardia. But by very strange reason, i assume they realized the sound indentity with "nazi" of the first phonetic part (and future perspective of public mockery in case of mass crimes against population) and the word "National" quite illogical (which nation?) and provocative - they now use everywhere (including in official mail) unofficial word "Rosgvardia" which not presented in the law or anywhere. Available information suggests that the National Guard of Russia is a military corps, although with law enforcement duties. Therefore, maybe we should use the infobox:military unit or both. For the sake of comparison, both Carabinieri and National Gendarmerie have less pronounced military traits, but, in their capacity of fully fledged military corps, have the military units' infobox.--Mach1988 (talk) 15:45, 15 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is pure military organization with "military service" by Putin's decree text number N 157 from 05.04.2016 named "Questions of federal service of troops of national guard of Russian Federation" which fully controls all aspect of civil society (i can't really determine if it is military dictatorshiporJuntaormilitary occupation, but it's definetely the martial law.Formula norvegese (talk) 21:09, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
