POV Pushing by editors close to the subject[edit]

I already noticed POV pushing in this article with an un-sourced claim that the newspaper the largest "circulation of any North American Jewish newspaper". The claim also cites a specific number of papers distributed each week. This shows that the article may have been edited by users close to the subject. We need to be careful and keep the article neutral - But be prepared for PR pushers.
Regarding the opinion on the Jewish week's editorial board we must also remember to attribute the opinion to it's author per Telling the difference between facts and opinions policy which states "Any source can be a reliable source for its own opinion" - therefore we need to retain the names of the individuals who voiced their opinions in the reliable sources (-Steven Pruzansky). The opinion that was brought also appears in Pruzansky's party's BLP article Caseeart (talk) 08:24, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Research resulted that the weekly distributions were falsely exaggerated (without sources) by previous editors (unless the numbers changed since their edits). Also there were un-sourced promotional claims that were not supported by the sources. Maybe the template could now be removed. Caseeart (talk) 07:29, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

What group of Jews Does the Newspaper target?[edit]

There are a variety of sources that discuss the viewpoints of this newspaper and the groups of Jews it supports and the groups of Jews it is more often critical about. This should be noted in the article. I began adding viewpoints from qualified secondary sources. Caseeart (talk) 08:17, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Circulation[edit]

I switched this number to 55,000, which is the number on their own page. I found an alternative number of 100,000 from the following secondary source:
Page 405 in: Gerhard O. W. Mueller (2012). The Criminology of Criminal Law. Transaction Publishers. ISBN 9781412849647.
However, since the number presented by the newspaper itself is smaller, I find it more reliable in this case. Mikael Häggström (talk) 13:20, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reliability of The Jewish Week[edit]

I have started a discussion to examine the the reliability of The Jewish Week. Please feel free to contribute to the discussion! TJMSmith (talk) 13:10, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
