Peviously I used to look at Guidestar to see what was the compensation of various library administrators. Someone recently showed me the website See Through NYhttps://www.seethroughny.net/payrolls which provides salaries for various people who contribute to NY State's pension system. I checked my own salary and that of various other people I know and I believe this is pretty accurate. I'm an employee so I'm not going to add the information, but - recognizing that we're in an era of transparency - I provide the URL if anyone else wants to add such information. - kosboot (talk) 02:37, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Interview with Michele Mayes (legal council for NYPL)[edit]
Really interesting interview with NYPL's head laywer, Michele Mayes. Provides interesting facts and perspective - some of which I think is worth incorporating into the article: https://news.bloomberglaw.com/business-and-practice/n-y-public-

That might be better done at this page: List of presidents of the New York Public Library, since this particular article does not talk about the Library's many esteemed presidents. Why not make an appopriate edit of your own there?
