Untitled[edit]

Nicholas (Nick) E. Galifianakis is an American cartoonist and artist. Since 1998, Galifianakis has been drawing the cartoons for the nationally syndicated advice column "Tell Me About It". The column is authored by Galifianakis' ex-wife, Washington Post writer Carolyn Hax, and has syndicated in more than 300 newspapers in the US since The Washington Post Writers Group first began it's syndication in 1998. The duo's first book, "Tell Me About It: Lying, Sulking, Getting Fat ... and 56 Other Things NOT to Do While Looking for Love," was published in 2001 by Hyperion. Galifianakis has also illustrated a number of books authored by writer and novelist Andrew Postman.

Galifianakis has been nominated by the National Cartoonists Society for the 2006 Reuben Award for Oustanding Cartoonist of the Year in the Newspaper Illustration category. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.173.178.93 (talkcontribs) 02:24, 19 May 2006

Background information[edit]

Born in Durham, North Carolina, Galifianakis grew up in Falls Church, Virginia, where he currently lives. Although he has no formal art education, his father Peter Galifianakis, an accomplished sculpter and painter, may have inspired his artistic development. His career as a cartoonist followed earlier work as an editorial cartoonist and illustrator for USA Today, and a free-lance editorial cartoonist and illustrator published in a variety of nationally distributed periodicals. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.173.178.93 (talkcontribs) 02:24, 19 May 2006

Fair use rationale for Image:NickandDog.jpg[edit]

Image:NickandDog.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

zuzu[edit]

Why does this article say "zuzu" where a heading would usually be "personal life" or something along those lines? 2607:FB91:1C16:C440:99FD:A53A:F660:2DD0 (talk) 14:48, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

never mind; I misread. 2607:FB91:1C16:C440:99FD:A53A:F660:2DD0 (talk) 14:49, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
