I note the sentence: "During this period, from 874-914 AD, the deputies represented him and acted as agents between him and his followers." yet thereafter all references are to the year 941 AD. Have I misunderstood, or is there a typographical error here, please? Dawright12 (talk) 12:08, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Support removal of "The" per WP:THE. Considering other-language wikis (ar-wiki, for example, uses a title that translates as "Occultation (theology)") and WP:UE, I think I'd go for Occultation (Islam). Also, a few sections down the page, other denominations speak about the occultation of other persons, so I'd rather not pick the IP's suggestion. --HyperGaruda (talk) 09:27, 21 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The new edits are intended to address the following issues, among other things.
The article has lots of unsourced or poorly sourced content.
Extinct Shia sects can be summarized into "Other views" so as not to divert attention from the existing branches.
There doesn't seem to be a good reason for including Bahai views in a distinctively Shia article. Same for the Druze.
"Secular democracy during Occultation" is a large section that promotes a particular political view, and it's misplaced and irrelevant here at best.
"Scholarly observations" looks like the type of place where opposing editors would go back and forth and off-topic. It's hardly justified here. Albertatiran (talk) 16:07, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Responsibility of the believers in the age of occultations[edit]
