So when did "Pakstan" become "Pakistan" ? The copies on the web of the declaration start with "Pakstan", in one place the "i" was inserted by hand, and in other places it is printed "Pakistan". HiUser:Kautilya3 thanks a lot for helping to improve this article and accept my apologies if my last edit caused edit conflicts to you, I wasn't aware you were editing it at the same time. Please check Choudhry_Rahmat_Ali#Conception_of_'Pakistan' and then compare it with Pakistan_Declaration#Covering_letter, one of it says PAKSTAN and the other says PAKISTAN. I believe PAKSTAN was correct since the article goes on to explain "i" was added later to improve the pronunciation. IMHO both the article should say the same thing whatever it is. --DBigXrayᗙ 05:05, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The idea of a "Muslim State" is such an obvious recreation of the past that no explanations are necessary. Everybody understands it instantly. Jinnah himself said that the Press did his job for him by labelling the Lahore Resolution the "Pakistan Resolution". Multiple spellings of Choudhry Rehmat Ali's first name are used. In his own article it is spelt "Choudhry", and in this article "Choudhry", "Choudhary", "Chaudhry" and "Chaudhary" are used.
