Any relation?[edit]

Is Paul Attanasio any relation of science fiction author A.A. Attanasio?Grutness...wha? 00:44, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, his brother is Mark Attanasio, financier and owner of the Milwaukee Brewers —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.125.211.132 (talk) 22:25, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Paul and his brother moved to Tenafly, NJ. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.15.92.210 (talk) 07:13, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating[edit]

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as stub, and the rating on other projects was brought up to Stub class. BetacommandBot 16:01, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Update the Information?[edit]

The Wikipedia article states that Paul Attanasio is currently the executive producer on House. However, this information is outdated because the series ended last May. Should I reword the beginning? Bfotino (talk) 21:46, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

His Son[edit]

His Son, the freakin' edit war... Can't you idiots stop that shit? It's completely irrelevant and badly written to boot. --jae (talk) 10:47, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

So even with a video proving what I wrote, my edit was reverted regarding Paul Attanasio's snotty son. Who's trying to protect him here? Krakaet (talk) 22:35, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oh? Let's see, I don't see why an edit should be reverted just because it is rude. Not sourced correctly? Pretty sure you just use the ref tags, no? If not, please inform me otherwise. Not encyclopedic, well, maybe I'll give you that, but it obviously DID happen. And not really relevant? Well, his son is obviously not noteworthy enough to have his own article - and there is already precedent on many articles here in Wikipedia to talk about the individuals' children. So?Krakaet (talk) 22:48, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that the material about the son's car incident is poorly written. It also seems trivial for the article about his father, except that he gave him such a valuable car at the age of 16. Still, it does not seem encylopedic. Let it go in the son's article if he ever achieves notability for himself as an adult. I'm reverting the reversion of my deletion of this paragraph.Parkwells (talk) 01:50, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Why is invading the privacy of a 16 year old adolescent notable? This ridiculous comment should be deleted and if the person who wrote it persists, action should be taken to keep it extirpated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.222.153.212 (talk) 03:34, 22 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Alternate version of the article[edit]

Atelierpaulattanasio has rewritten this article, removing all wikilinks and all references, and in an edit today reverting the article to that version identifies himself as Paul Attanasio and states that he is removing inaccuracies. I have restored the version in which I had incorporated material from there, but the article could use more references, and please could the editor state what is inaccurate? Yngvadottir (talk) 20:45, 6 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

149.135.125.193 today edited the article and again removed mention of his working together with his wife. Is there a reference stating that they no longer work together? Yngvadottir (talk) 04:42, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Filmreference.com[edit]

The URL for this reference is correct, but does not work directly. The page can be reached via http://www.filmreference.com/film/ -> http://www.filmreference.com/film/Wes-Anderson-to-Sarah-Badel.html . Yngvadottir (talk) 13:05, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Delete road rage incident of son's[edit]

See reasons above to delete this incident - trivial and not directly related to the father's life. Both sources have deleted the video, and devote very little space to this story about the immaturity of John. I don't think we need to repeat it. If editors decide to use it, then reflect the sources, as in the following and place it with his family, not under his father's "Career" section: "In September 2013 at the age of 16, his son John Attanasio was driving without a license. After almost rear ending a Mercedes, he insulted the other driver. He was widely criticized for a "rich kid rant", including a homophobic slur, which the other driver captured on video and posted on the Internet. [1] [2]"

Please try and learn that if you include refs in your talk page posts, you really need to include the reflist!!!

If you do not, anyone else posting will end up with the refs below their post, and it will stay at the bottom of the page, getting further and further from your original post as people keep adding comments to this page.

Also include your wiki name, or at least something to tell us who the hell you are.Deleting your IP to try and hide who you were does not work BTW :)

I am checking your other posts now also, as it appears you may have added a little WP:OR in another article Chaosdruid (talk) 19:46, 29 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

    Hi

I have made some changes to the article.

The "Life and Career" section was appalling. It combined his career, accolades, family life, controversial behaviour by his son, TV appearances and other material that should NOT have been allowed to fester into such a ridiculous state.

I have created two new sections and rearranged the material appropriately using NPoV, undue weight, and basic common-sense. Chaosdruid (talk) 19:34, 29 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
